"Pop Champagne," the celebratory new single by Jim Jones and Ron Browz (featuring Juelz Santana) is this week's #1 record on America's Urban Radio stations according to the Billboard Monitor Urban Mainstream chart.

A bona-fide urban-pop crossover phenomenon, "Pop Champagne" is zipping up a variety of charts, hitting #3 on the Top 40 Rhythm Monitor, #3 Hot Rap Tracks, #4 Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, and #11 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Released September 4, 2008, "Pop Champagne" is providing urban music fans with an effervescent first taste of "Pray IV Reign," the eagerly-awaited major label album debut from the ground-breaking hip-hop impresario and artist Jim Jones. His first album for Columbia Records, "Pray IV Reign" will be available in stores and online on Tuesday, March 24.

Jim Jones is rolling out "Pray IV Reign" in a manner befitting his status as a legendary creator and purveyor of East Coast hip-hop.

With Spin magazine giving his new record a 3 (out of 4) star review and the covers of both XXL and Complex magazines on the newsstands this month, Jim Jones will be appearing in his own self-penned off-Broadway musical "Hip-Hop Monologues: Inside the Life and Mind of Jim Jones" the week "Pray IV Reign" is released. The show's initial New York run proved so successful that an extended tour is planned for February and March 2009.

In anticipation of the release of "Pray IV Reign," Jim Jones will release "This Is Jim Jones," a documentary film chronicling his rise from the Bronx and the streets of Harlem as a founding member of the pioneering hip-hop collective the Diplomats to become one of the genre's most profoundly influential executives as the CEO of Diplomat Records

Alicia Keys and Yamaha Announce New Partnership

Legendary R&B Artist Performs Impromptu Concert at Winter NAMM 2009 and Announces Partnership with Yamaha to Produce 'Alicia's Keys'

International, multi-platinum R&B sensation Alicia Keys and the world's largest musical instrument manufacturer, Yamaha, announced a new partnership to distribute piano-inspired sounds and future products. One of the sounds was introduced on Jan. 17, 2009 for an intimate gathering of press and dealers in the Yamaha booth at the Winter NAMM music product industry trade show in Anaheim, Calif.

The project was an intense collaboration between the 11-time Grammy Award winning Yamaha artist, her Grammy Award winning engineer Ann Mincielli, and renowned plug-in designer Thomas Hansen Scarbee, who all worked hand in hand to digitally reproduce the exact sound of Alicia's prized Yamaha C3 Neo grand piano. Keys' hope is to have her sounds available at a very affordable price within the next three months, so that young musicians from all backgrounds will be able to play her signature sound.

"I wanted to create a sound that is just magnificent and that would inspire me to play," said Keys. "It was an idea that was born during the creation of my last album As I Am, which was recorded at my own studio, The Oven Studios, in New York City. While we were there recording this album we were able to create a really warm and beautiful sound using my Yamaha C3 Neo, and we decided that we wanted to capture that sound and make it something that I can take with me everywhere.

"I believe it is really important to have access to a great sounding piano, and I hope this new virtual piano will inspire others and help them to hone their craft in a way like never before, regardless of their economic situation."

Keys unveiled the new sound for the crowd through a Yamaha DGT2A piano. She played three songs, including "If I Ain't Got You," "Fallin," "How Come You Don't Call Me," and finished by playing "Sure Looks Good To Me" on Yamaha's newly-launched AvantGrand, a hybrid piano that will be available later this year.

"During our five year history with Alicia, Yamaha has been honored to meet the challenges set forth by this groundbreaking performer, including customizing two purple Yamaha pianos for her videos for 'Karma' and 'No One'," commented Chris Gero, vice president of Yamaha Corporate Artist Affairs, Inc. "Today, we're proud to announce this new partnership with her, and we will be diligently working together to make this project a success and fulfill Alicia's vision of inspiring future musicians."

Those who were unable to attend NAMM can watch the press conference on www.yamaha.com/namm as a live webcast courtesy of NewTek using TriCaster, their portable live production system.

Singer/songwriter/actress Keys has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide since the release of her first studio album Songs in A Minor in 2001. With 11 Grammy Awards (and three more current nominations), 17 Billboard Music Awards, 5 American Music Awards, and a recent fourth consecutive No. 1 on the Billboard Charts, it's no wonder she was recently inducted into the Billboard Hot 100 All-Time Top Artists List.

DJ REVOLUTION TOUR ASIA - MARCH 2009 AUSTRALIA - MAY 2009 UK/EUROPE - APRIL 2009

2-rev

DJ Revolution said it best in a recent interview, "the connection be-
tween the DJ and the emcee has been severed. "King of The Decks"
is myattempt at reconnecting it." DJ Revolution did just that with
his new album,as he brought together some of the most talented
names in Hip Hop today, who not only produce quality music,
but also respect the craft of the DJ Culture.

DJ Revolution has spent 15 years perfecting that craft on the 1200's.
He's currently behind the wheels of the longest running Hip Hop show
in the history of commercial radio, "THE WORLD FAMOUS WAKE
UP SHOW alongside Sway & King Tech.

Aside from his weekly duties on the show based out of LA on Power
106
, and syndicated Worldwide, he has lent his now infamous scratch
techniques to countless records and his production skills to many
established artists. REV has also taken his skillz to the far corners
as the globe and ripped clubs in locations such as Japan, Europe,
Australia and New Zealand. He has also shared the stage DJ'ing
for many artists including legends like Rakim all the way to current
superstars such as Kanye West. Revolution has released two of his
own Full length LP's ("In 12's we trust/R2K") and one with his
partners Sway & Tech ("This or That").

As DJ Revolution readies "KING OF THE DECKS," in stores on
September 16th, he divulged further on the issues of the lack of
communication between the MC and THE DJ stating that it "is
one of the most obvious reasons Hip Hop has devolved so
drastically over the years. Since MC's in general decided to toss
aside the DJ as an asset and integral part of their success from
production to performance, the music has suffered tremendously.
My goal is to re-introduce to the world what a DJ is. He or She is
not just a celebrity, or someone who plays records, or makes
funny sounds with turntables. He or she is all of that and more.
I recruited some of the most legendary and also most talented
up and coming artists to help me express all of this within the
context of the music.

The title of the album is by no means a way of saying I'm the
best on the turntables. "King of the Decks" is obviously just a
play on words related to a deck of cards. However, it is also a
statement that needs to be remembered. The DJ is King.

Tax Turkey Awards Given Out To Caroline Kennedy, Rep. Charles Rangel, Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner, And Others

New York, NY: Brendan Pack, CEO of Tax Academy.com, a multimillion dollar company based in New York City and services over 100,000 companies, has announced today the annual Tax Turkey awards being given to government officials for their potential tax-related problems. The winner will receive a 14k gold "Tax Turkey" plaque. The top five are as follows:

Caroline Kennedy:
Quit her bid for Senate seat due to "personal" reasons, including "tax" problems. Sources cite that Kennedy ended her campaign for Hillary Clinton's vacant Senate seat due to "potentially embarrassing" situations with tax liabilities and employment with nanny. Ms. Kennedy's only tax issue on the public record appeared to be a $615 city tax lien that she settled in 1994, a minuscule amount for a multimillionaire.

Charles Rangel:
In 2008, the chairman of the tax-writing House Ways and Means Committee was accused of failing to report $75,000 in rental income for a villa he owned at the Punta Cana Yacht Club, in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Documents also released showed that Rep. Rangel paid no interest on a mortgage used to purchase the beach property. His attorney, Lanny Davis, claims these financial issues were unintentional, and Rep. Rangel wasn't previously aware of his failure to disclose the income because most of the mailings were sent to his wife. Republicans have called for the removal of the Congressman from the House Ways and Means Committee, which writes the nation's tax laws, and an investigation has been implemented.

Tom Daschle:
President Obama's pick to head the Health and Human Services Department, Tom Daschle, recently filed amended tax returns to report $128,203 in unpaid taxes and $11,964 in interest for 2005-2007. His amended taxes reflect additional income for consulting work, the use of a car service, and reductions in charitable contribution deductions. Daschle has paid the IRS taxes and interest for this error, which has delayed his confirmation as Obama's appointed advisor.

Timothy Geithner:
President Obama's pick for Treasury Secretary, Timothy Geithner, disclosed to Senators that he failed to report $34,000 in self-employment taxes from 2001-2004. Although his confirmation hearing was delayed, this tax mistake did not cost him his position as Treasury Secretary, which includes oversight of the IRS.

William Jefferson:
The Congressman was defeated in the 2008 election; however his controversy started a couple years prior to his loss. In 2006, the FBI raided Jefferson's home and claimed they found over $90,000 Jefferson took in bribes, some of the cash stashed away in the freezer. Rep. Jefferson was indicted on 16 charges of corruption by a federal grand jury and stripped of his membership on the House Ways and Mean's Committee, yet the controversy did not end. In June of 2008, his sister pleaded guilty to a Federal fraud scheme.
