Beyonce Watches as Solange Attacks Jay-Z in Elevator
All three of the stars stepped into an elevator together after attending the Met Gala after party at the Standard Hotel when Solange started screaming at Jay-Z before violent attacking him, according to TMZ.
Solange was held back by Beyonce's bodyguard, but she was still able to get in some kicks and definitely makes contact at least three times. The whole time, Beyonce stands to the side without getting involved physically. No word on what happened that caused the fight.

A statement was issued out via Twitter on Solange's page. I am not sure if her page was hacked but this is what was posted on Solanges page:

Jay Z - The Blueprint 3 available on iTunes
The release date for Jay-Z's highly anticip- ated album The Blueprint 3 has been shuffled due to bootlegging and leaks on the Internet. as opposed to the original date of Friday, September 11. those produced by Timbaland - landed on net. to address the issue in an interview. MTV News during a press conference. "It’s a preview. I’m e xcited for people to hear the album. I’m very proud of the work I’ve done, so enjoy it." and Fire Widows’ and Children’s Benefit Fund will continue as planned on September 11. with the release of his 11th solo album, The Blueprint 3, Jay-Z is gracing the cover of XXL magazine for the publication’s October issue. Speaking with XXL’s Special Projects Editor Bonsu Thompson, the self-proclaimed, “God MC” delves deep into many hot topics currently buzzing around him, including his mega success, BP3, jabs at his new singles “D.O.A. (Death of Auto-Tune)” and “Run this Town,” his tenure as the president of Def Jam and life as hip-hop’s ultra businessman. Check out a few excerpts below. CRITICISM OF “D.O.A.” I’m like, What are you talking about? It’s just stupid. I’m not hating on young people… I’m not Bill Russell, [saying] Michael J ordan ain’t shit. I’m saying Lil Wayne and Kanye are like LeBron and Kobe. My job as someone at the forefront of the game is to leave it in a better position than when I came in. Same way t hat Russell [Simmons] left it to me. ’Cause this thing saved my l ife. Literally. So I have a responsibility to it karmically. And after that it’s on you. I did my part. I made ‘D.O.A.’ I said it. I made the s tatement. I made the push. Here, y’all take it from here.” HIS LEGACY AS FORMER DEF JAM RECORDS PRESIDENT I’d say A-plus. No one can bat a 100. It’s impossible. I mean, everyone is looking at my shit. But if we really looked under the hood [of] every single [record exec] and the acts they put out in that time, I’d be comparable to anyone.” HIS STANDING IN THE GAME utta my ass. I say that with all my stats behind me. I put that against anybody. I mean anybody. I really believe that… I believe in a lot of t hings.
I believe that ‘SportsCenter’ is the best thing on TV. I shouldn’t have to prove it. But I do have these stats to prove it. I’m talking about real run. I’m not talking about years off. I’m talking about straight—boom, boom, boom—b ack to back. We’re not talking about heritage acts either. We’re not talking about respect what I ’ve done. I’m talking No. 1 [albums] 10 times. The Beatles is the only one [to have more
No. 1 albums]. They got 19, and if I get a surge of creativity, I could make nine albums next year.” XXL’s October issue includes stories on The Making of The Blueprint, the current state of lyricism in hip-hop, Raekwon’s Only Built 4 Cuban Linx II and much more. The mag hits newsstands September 15. -Marvin Brandon |

SLIM THUGS NEW ALBUM DROPS MARCH 24TH
Slim Thug is a reluctant celebrity if ever there was one. The Houston-bred rapper who pushed his towering frame through hip-hop’s heavy doors in the late ‘90s never envisioned himself as a rap star. “I didn’t come in the game wanting to be a rapper,” he explains. “I wasn’t like a kid saying I wanna be a famous rapper, I wanna be like Tupac. I was from the ‘hood. We didn’t believe in none of that shit. I’m 6’6 tall and I never played basketball because I never believed in going to the NBA. That was just too far fetched for me and being a rap star was too far fetched for me.”
But it wasn’t long before an eye-opening encounter with Swisha House’s Michael “5000” Watts had Slim singing a different song. “I was at a party freestyling and he invited me to his house to do a mixtape,” he recalls, adding that Watts “showed me the hustle of it, how it all worked. As soon I saw that, I started making money.”
Although he has only one major label release to his credit – 2005’s Already Platinum, Slim Thug has the swagger and the fanbase of a more seasoned rapper. His new CD, Boss of All Bosses (Boss Hawg Outlawz/E1 Music), is a testament to his independent spirit both as an artist and an entrepreneur. It is a testament, he says, to the ‘reality music’ that has made his native Houston a hotbed for hip-hop over the years. “This album is me doing what I wanted to do. I put it together the way I wanted without being influenced by any other people – no A&Rs, none of that. What people are gonna get from this album is Houston. I have all the artists out of Houston on it: UGK, Scarface, Lil Keke, Z-Ro.”
As he cites appearances on his CD, Slim Thug gushes with pride. “These are the people I listen to all the time all day,” he proclaims, “and I just wanna give the world that, let the world know the type of stuff that we’re on because I don’t see too many people outside the southern region catching on to how we do our stuff out here. There’s still a whole other side of Houston that hasn’t been displayed so I’m still trying to bring it out to a broader audience.”
After one CD, several mixtapes – including Serve and Collect: Volumes 1 and 2 – and a number of appearances on other people’s projects (Mike Jones’ ‘Still Tippin’ Gwen Stefani’s “Luxurious" and Beyonce’s “Check On It”), the original boss man from Houston is back in the mix, still calling the shots, still doing things his way. “It’s always been like that,” he says confidently. “I was always in control of whatever I did. That’s why when I got with the majors I wasn’t comfortable because I wasn’t calling the shots. I’ve always been a boss in this music game. Now, in my mind, I’m starting over from scratch. I’m just hitting the reset button and start from there.”
