Have A Tequila Cinco De Mayo Celebration In New York Brings Jewish Leaders And Mexican Government Officials Together To Introduce To Kosher Tequila In NYC For The First Time Ever


Thousands of Commuters across Grand Central will join Cinco de Mayo Celebration in Dance

Rabbi P. Winnig and other Jewish leaders from the tri-state area will join Ambassador Rubén Beltrán of Mexico in a Cinco de Mayo celebration introducing New York's first kosher tequila. The ceremony will take place Tuesday May 5, 2009 - 11:00am at 1214 Vanderbilt Avenue in Manhattan. Religious jews in New York City will be allowed for the first time to drink tequila. Mariachi Bands will accompany traditional Mexican dancers at Tequilaville(across the street from Grand Central Station) which hosts one of the largest celebrations in the region. Over 100,000 Fajitas, tacos quesadillas and other Mexican meals will be served throughout the day. The national Dance of Mexico, ''jarabe tapatio'' the famous Mexican hat dance will be performed outside bringing thousands of commuters from Grand Central Station into the Cinco De Mayo festivities. Kosher Tequila Agave 99 will be arriving in the United States for the first time. The restaurant will be handing out free pastrami burritos in honor of the first kosher tequila to be served in the City of New York.

New York Biz to Invest Millions in Mexico Economy, Buy Kosher Tequila Not Drugs

New York NY Martin Silver owner of Star Industries has announced today he is introducing one of Americas first kosher tequilas from Mexico. He will be investing millions of dollars in the Mexican economy after its massive decline.

Star Industries will be introducing Agave 99 Tequila to the New York, Los Angles and Chicago market on Cinco de Mayo. The biggest international party celebrating Mexican Independence Day. For many years thousands of religious Jews nationwide have been forbidden to drink tequila because it was not kosher.They will working with a Kosher bottling plant in Mexico to produce the new product.

According to Silver''If I can help the Mexican economy in there times of trouble and give the Jewish people another reason to celebrate then its a home run world wide for everyone.It will not always be kosher for Passover but Kosher for Cinco De Mayo''.

U.S. Secretary of State Clinton said this week that the world financial crisis has highlighted the links between the economies of the U.S. and Mexico, and that trade should help lift the countries out of the current recession.

The Mexican economy is also expected to decline this year. Industrial production kicked off 2009 with an 11.1% drop in January, the worst since 1995, while imports and exports fell by about 30% in the first few months of the year.
US President Obama plans to make his first official visit to Mexico as the U.S. head of state in mid-April.
