Have A Tequila Cinco De Mayo Celebration In New York Brings Jewish Leaders And Mexican Government Officials Together To Introduce To Kosher Tequila In NYC For The First Time Ever


Thousands of Commuters across Grand Central will join Cinco de Mayo Celebration in Dance

Rabbi P. Winnig and other Jewish leaders from the tri-state area will join Ambassador Rubén Beltrán of Mexico in a Cinco de Mayo celebration introducing New York's first kosher tequila. The ceremony will take place Tuesday May 5, 2009 - 11:00am at 1214 Vanderbilt Avenue in Manhattan. Religious jews in New York City will be allowed for the first time to drink tequila. Mariachi Bands will accompany traditional Mexican dancers at Tequilaville(across the street from Grand Central Station) which hosts one of the largest celebrations in the region. Over 100,000 Fajitas, tacos quesadillas and other Mexican meals will be served throughout the day. The national Dance of Mexico, ''jarabe tapatio'' the famous Mexican hat dance will be performed outside bringing thousands of commuters from Grand Central Station into the Cinco De Mayo festivities. Kosher Tequila Agave 99 will be arriving in the United States for the first time. The restaurant will be handing out free pastrami burritos in honor of the first kosher tequila to be served in the City of New York.
