REEBOX CLASSIC FOOTWEAR COLLECTION

This spring Reebok will release a new collection of classic footwear styles which has been updated to create the Classic Remix collection. Key retro elements of the past and streamline detailing of the present combine a 'then and now' look at Reebok's history. The Classic Remix collection will be available exclusively at Foot Locker stores.

In celebration of this new collection, Reebok is partnering with today's top emerging hip-hop artists. Each will re-interpret an original influential song from the 80's to be distributed exclusively with the Classic Remix collection.

Kidz In The Hall (Major League/Duck Down Music) will be the first group in the series to re-interpret the classic song, "I Got It Made" by Special Ed. The new track will be available for download to customers who purchase footwear from the Classic Remix collection at Foot Locker stores starting March 10th, 2009.

Reebok will offer new styles and color ways from the collection throughout the year, each featuring a new artist and re-interpreted track. Next in the series will be Kid Sister, followed by B.o.B. Sneaker Images

YOUNG JEEZY AND BELVEDERE VODKA- NEW MUSIC

Belvedere Vodka and Young Jeezy debut the official music video for "Circulate," the next single off Jeezy's latest album "The Recession." The video, the first project of their creative partnership, can be viewed on jeezycirculate.com, along with other exclusive content including a new commercial spot by Belvedere with Jeezy.

CHECK OUT ARTIST NOVAKANE

While most up-and-comers attempt to pull off their "one big hit" by matching it with a dance move, Novakane represents for the true hip-hop fans who still respect raw expression without the games and gimmicks. Ferocious as a Chicago wind, Nokavane’s approach is numbing to the senses. And he intends to keep it that way.

A native of the city’s West side, Novakane started rapping at age 16. Mainly inspired by NWA and Too Short, he would visualize their tales of gangsta life while witnessing it first-hand for himself everyday. After graduating from high school, he decided to take music seriously and moved to Memphis where his godmother opened a recording studio.

Kimora gets $40,000 for child support

Well Kimora has finally gotten what she asked for in her divorce settlement with hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons. Kimora will receive sole custody of the girls, $20,000 for each child, and a new car every two years (no less than $60k). Kimora and Russell filled for divorce in June of 2008. Kimora runs Baby Phat Fashions while Russell runs Phat Fashions.

AEG to terminate contract with Tickemaster

Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG) has announced that it will terminate its ticket contract if Live Nation and Ticketmaster merge. AEG is a rival to Live Nation. Ticketmaster is not really concerned since revenus from AEG only counted for 10% of its revenues. AEG owns concert the Staples Center in LA and the Nokia Theater in NY.

Pryslezz Releases New Album

King Ape/Lightyear/EMI Recording Artist Pryslezz released his sophomore album on Tuesday, February 24th to an overwhelmingly positive response from fans and media like. The project appropriately entitled Death of a Man, Rebirth of a King features guest appearances from Grammy nominated R&B vocalists Dwele & Raheem Devaughn, Slum Village, N.O.X and Jason Derulo (Lil Wayne, Diddy) on the hit single "Sideways." The Ohio born lyricist was recently spotlighted as the "Featured Artist" on Myspace Music, AOL Music and the front page of BET.com while also giving his fans exclusive listening parties. RIAA Layoffs

The RIAA has laid off up to 20% of its employees earlier this month. Declining revenue in the music industry have caused the layoffs. RIAA has also stopped per suing individuals for illegal file sharing.

New York Posts Rupert Murdock Apologizes

Rupert Murdock apologized today for the cartoon that was posted in the New York Post that showed two police officers shoot a Chimp and saying "I guess they have to get someone else to write the stimulus bill". The cartoon enraged many readers as it was felt that the New York Post was making fun of President Obama. The times stated that the cartoon was only meant to mock the stimulus bill and not the president. Here is his apology:
"Today I want to personally apologize to any reader who felt offended, and even insulted,I can assure you -- without a doubt -- that the only intent of that cartoon was to mock a badly written piece of legislation. It was not meant to be racist, but unfortunately, it was interpreted by many as such. We all hold the readers of the New York Post in high regard, and I promise you that we will seek to be more attuned to the sensitivities of our community."

Why does INTRO love Micky Rourke? Well have you heard the speech that he gave after wining "Best Male Lead" at the Spirit Awards?:

"I just got done talking to the Santa Monica Police Department," Rourke continued. "They gave me a bed to sleep in 10 years ago. And I thank them—I asked them for two pillows, they told me to fuck off. But anyway, thank you, Darren Aronofsky, for believing in me...I've told people in the past that directors like [him] come around every 25 years...He is one tough son of a bitch and he don't like it when I say that 'cause he goes, 'Mickey, you'll scare all the other actors away from me.' But Darren, you know what, if they ain't got the balls to bring it, then f--k 'em, you know."

He even thanked co-star Marisa Tomei by saying "Not many girls can climb a pole, so I give her big props for that". Marisa played a stripper in the movie. We think this is the best speech ever given at an awards show!

The 29th Annual RAZZIE® Awards

At least someone loved THE LOVE GURU. Voters for The 29th Annual RAZZIE Awards spread the dis-honors around this year, but gave several of their berry biggest trophies to one of 2008’s most notorious box office losers, Mike Myers’ misbegotten, far-from-mystical “comedy” THE LOVE GURU. In addition to being named the year’s Worst Picture, GURU also received spray-painted gold for its screenplay and Myers as Worst Actor, in intentionally tacky ceremonies held on “Oscar Eve” at the Barnsdall Theatre in Hollywood.

But the former SNL star wasn’t the year’s biggest RAZZIE winner/loser. That dis-stink-tion belongs to “sex-tape-celeb-utant” Paris Hilton, who tied Eddie Murphy’s hat-trick from 2007, taking a record-tying 3 trophies in a single year. For her “starring” performance in Worst Picture nominee THE HOTTIE & THE NOTTIE (which Hilton herself executive-produced) the air-headed heiress was gonged for both Worst Actress and as part of the year’s Worst Screen Couple (along with co-stars Christine Lakin and Joel David Moore). And for her mostly-left-on-the-cutting-room floor cameo in the “slasher musical” REPO: THE GENETIC OPERA, she was chosen Worst Supporting Actress.

Others roundly RAZZed in the 90-minute Oscar parody included Pierce Brosnan as Worst Supporting Actor for his tone-deaf turn in MAMMA MIA! The year’s third-biggest grossing (and most disappointing) movie INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL “won” as Worst Prequel, Remake, Rip-Off or Sequel and world-class worst movie-maker Uwe Boll took both the 2008 Worst Director RAZZIE® (for 3 titles) and a well-deserved special Worst Career Achievement dis-honor. Tupac Movie On Hold

Though the life of the rapper Tupac Shakur, below, has spawned at least a dozen documentaries, a planned biographical film about Shakur, who was killed in 1996, has been bogged down by a legal dispute, The Hollywood Reporter said. The production company Morgan Creek has filed suit against Amaru Entertainment, the company run by Shakur’s mother, Afeni Shakur, saying it reneged on an agreement to sell his life rights for a movie. Morgan Creek’s complaint said a written contract was in place, according to The Reporter, but a lawyer for Amaru Entertainment said, “There is no agreement with Morgan Creek, there never was, and there never will be.” Relations between the two companies were said to have broken down last month around the time of the release of “Notorious,” the biographical movie about a rival rapper, the Notorious B.I.G.

Trump Entertainment resorts was de-listed from the NASDAQ after filing Chapter 11 bankruptcy. The company does not expect to file an appeal of the decision. The company Common Stock trading will be suspended at the opening of business on February 26th. The common stock may become eligible trading over the OTC Bulletin Board if a market maker makes application to quote the common stock in accordance with Securities and Exchange Commission Rule 15c2-11, and the application is cleared.

Rihanna Issues Official Statement

Rihanna issues her first official statement:"She wants to assure her fans that she remains strong, is doing well and deeply appreciates the outpouring of support she has received during this difficult time." Rihanna celebrated her 21st birthday in private with family. Her father is furious over the photos that were leaked to TMZ. It is reported that TMZ paid a police informant $62,500 for the photo. LAPD has launched an internal investigation. Rihanna has not commented on Chris Brown or the altercation. Chris Brown is still free on $50,000 bail.

Sirius XM May Have An Investor

Sirius XMs management is still working to ensure a positive outcome for the company. The company has a possible investor the will elet the company stay solvent but it is expected that Chief Executive mel karmazin will file for bankrupcty. Some creditor at Sirius XM are planning on removing Karmazin if he files for Chapter 11 bankruptcy "Creditors will act quickly and definitively if they perceive that management is (not) acting ... in the best interest of the estate," stated Edward Weisfelner. Sirius XM's convertible bonds are due tomorrow.

Donald Trump Bankrupt?

Donal Trump's Trump Entertainment Resorts Inc. could be filing bankruptcy soon. The company has until tomorrow February 17th to make a $53 million bond payment. The bondholders may force the company into involuntary bankruptcy this week. Donald Trump and his daughter Ivanka have resigned from the board. It has been reported that Trump owns 28% of the stock. In recent quote Donald stated "“I have nothing to do with it. I’m not in it, I’m not on the board,” Trump, who was chairman, said in a telephone interview". Live Nation's Micheal Rapino fights for Merger

“We will be able to deal with all of Sam’s concerns,” Rapino said in a recent statement concerning the the comment made by Sam Shapiro of Shapiro Capital Management. Mr. Shapiro is concerned with the leadership role that Barry Diller will be taking with company. Shapiro Capital Management is Live Nation Inc.'s largest shareholder. As the chairman of Ticketmaster Barry Diller and will retain the same position in the merger. "I’m very much against going into business with Mr. Diller” because of poor returns from companies he leads" stated Shapiro in a recent interview. The merger will make Live Nation one of the largest ticket sellers worldwide causing a monopoly in ticket sales.

Sirius XM Still Looking For Hope!

As February 17th draws closer for a possible takeover by EchoStar's Charles Ergen Sirius XM's Chief Executive Mel Karmazin is still in talks with Liberty Media Corp. Ergen owns $175 million in convertible bonds that come due on February 17th. By converting the debt into equity will allow EchoStar to takeover Sirius XM. Karmazin is looking to Liberty Media as a potential investor but it is not looking good for the company. A representative for Liberty Media has stated that the talks with Sirius XM management have been synergetic.

$9 Million Stolen from ATM Machines in 30 Minutes!!!

The FBI has recently released information to the $9 million dollar heist that took place this past November. Apparently $9 million dollars was stolen from 130 various ATM machines in New York, Atlanta, and Chicago. Those are just a few named in the 49 cities where the money was stolen. How does someone steal $9 million in 30 minutes? It has been reported that the thieves have hacked into the RBS WordPay computer system and stole their payroll card information. RBS WorldPay offers a payroll card to companies to pay the salaries of their employees. the card looks like a credit card but is used like a debit card. Employees are able to use the cards at ATM Machines to withdraw their money. RBS WorldPay has reported "Certain personal information of approximately 1.5 million cardholders and other individuals may have been affected and, of this group, Social Security numbers of 1.1 million people may have been accessed" (nydailynews). The group that stole the information used "Cashers" to get the money from the ATM machines. The group that stole the inromation has yet to be caught.

Tickemaster and Live Nation Merger Could Mean Higher Ticket Prices!

Since Live Nation and Ticketmaster have announced a merger many have spoken out against it including recording artist Bruce Springsteen. The merger will have Ticketmaster drop its name and take on Live Nation. The merger will value the company at $2.5 billion. Artist's don't like the merger because with one company holding majority ticket sales there is no competition. In one report Barry Diller (chairman of Ticketmaster) and Micheal Rapino stated how the believe the merger would benefit fans: "Technology investments would allow for paperless ticketing and afford fans “better access to shows.” It’s unclear, though, what they meant by “better access.” Rapino also said that the combined company would be able to increase attendance at live events, but outside of additional marketing muscle, it’s unclear how fans would suddenly start buying more tickets just because the two companies are now one. Ticket sales can be increase which can mean very few sold out shows for artists especially with the state that the economy is in at the moment.

If that is true, Ruth Madoff learned of her husband’s crimes as suddenly as the rest of the world. One day, she was married to a stock-market genius, the next she was married to one of history’s great con men.

That, anyway, is the official Madoff version of events. At this point, as a mess that Mr. Madoff himself is said to have estimated at $50 billion lands in litigation, the main characters aren’t talking. In the absence of direct answers, all that’s left is the sort of psychological puzzle that belongs in Act II of a David Mamet drama, right before we find out who are the players and who are the played.

Was Mrs. Madoff really blindsided? In the social circles where the couple once traveled, both possibilities are unnerving — that Ruth Madoff was in on this, or that she wasn’t. If she isn’t a confederate, after all, then she arguably should be counted among Bernard Madoff’s victims. Either way, wittingly or not, she was an essential asset to her husband, humanizing him and drawing people into his orbit.

“All I will say on the subject is that it’s hard to imagine that she could live with the guy for 50 years and have no inkling,” says Donald Rosenzweig, a childhood friend of Ruth’s and an investor in Madoff Investment Securities. “Could she attract people to him? Yes. Was she out there shilling for him? I doubt it. But maybe.”

Federal prosecutors have not charged Mrs. Madoff with any crimes, and though she is currently living with her husband, who is under house arrest in their Upper East Side penthouse, she can come and go as she pleases. She has surrendered her passport and agreed to a deal with the United States attorney’s office that freezes her assets and grants her an undisclosed monthly allowance for living expenses, the cost of security for the couple and legal fees. Color, or geography, are often the lines that divide and it can be hard to look past those things and find a commonality. Music, though, can be that bridge and Houston artist Rob G seeks to use that tool to illustrate that despite outward appearances, there is more to unify us all than a casual glance might indicate.

Black and Brown Sounds: Both Sides of the Fence will be a multi-volume mixtape of all original, unreleased tracks that bring some of the best that Texas' rap world has to offer - both Black and Latino - under one umbrella. Volume 1, co-hosted by Trae Tha Truth, which already has over 5,000 pre-orders, hits stores on February 17th. Later volumes will be co-hosted by well-known rap artists from 'both sides of the fence."

Each successful in their own right, Trae Tha Truth and Rob G have been doing their independent thing in Texas for some time now and have also collaborated on some very successful street records (How You Like Me Now, Road to Success); there is a chemistry. Finding themselves under the same management team put them on the road together, giving each a chance to really interact with one another's fan base. Thus, the concept for Both Sides of the Fence was born.

A promo tour is currently in the works in support of Both Sides of the Fence: Volume 1 that is expected to hit every major stop in Texas as well as Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Alabama and even California. Stay tuned for routing news.

According to Nancy Cambino, the station's operations manager, “Valentine's Day should stand for love so we find it fitting to make the Friday the 13th right before Valentine’s Day a day for revenge for those who were unlucky in love. Whether you're a Rihanna fan or not, we can all empathize with being with someone who caused love to go wrong.”

Statistically 40 percent of America will be alone on Valentines Day. Divorce rate is at an all-time high in the last few years, and radio station BLI wants to bring America together for a common cause.

Sirius XM filing Chapter 11 Bankrupcty

Looks like Sirius XM Radio may be preparing to file for bankruptcy. Recent news reports that Sirius "thinks there's a 'high likelihood' that Sirius XM will fail to repay or refinance its debt in 2009" states the financial research firm Moody. Sirius XM contains $5 billion in assets but has over $3.25 billion in debt. Sirius XM would be the second largest Chapter 11 filing this year. Sirius XM seemed to be putting things back into perspective when XM Satellite and Sirius merged last year but with auto sales declining (vehicles sold with Sirius XM radio made a up a large portion of its customer base)the company needed to rethink its position. Although it doesn't look like Sirius XM customers will loose their service but it looks as if the company may have to terminate contracts with Shock Jock Howard Stern and Martha Stewart. Howard Stern signed a contract with Sirius that allows him to make $100 million a year.

Satellite company EchoStar may be looking to takeover Sirius XM by purchasing the companies debt.However, it is yet to be determined whether EchoStar is purchasing convertible or bank debt:

"—If Echostar is buying the convertible debt due in February, it could either be making a play for equity (it would have the option to convert the debt to equity), or planning to get in line behind the bank debt holders in bankruptcy proceedings.

—If Echostar is buying bank debt, it could be looking to take control of the company during bankruptcy proceedings as, again, bank debt holders are first in line for the assets." (forbes.com)

EchoStar also owns $400 million of Sirius XM’s debt. If Sirius XM files for bankruptcy, EchoStar could seek in court to take over the company. However, EchoStar may be able to negotiate to convert its shares before bankruptcy at an attractive rate and gain control of the company.

Who has been named most bankable star in Hollywood you might ask? Well, its none other than actor Will Smith. Will scored a perfect 10 among 150 actors, producers, and directors that were surveyed by Forbes.com as to who were the most desirable to cast when starting a project. Others who made the list include: Johnny Depp, Leonardo DiCaprio and Hollywood couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, who were all tied with a score of 9.89. Tom Hanks had a score of 9.87 while Denzel Washington had a score of 9.76.

SLIM THUGS NEW ALBUM DROPS MARCH 24TH

Slim Thug is a reluctant celebrity if ever there was one. The Houston-bred rapper who pushed his towering frame through hip-hop’s heavy doors in the late ‘90s never envisioned himself as a rap star. “I didn’t come in the game wanting to be a rapper,” he explains. “I wasn’t like a kid saying I wanna be a famous rapper, I wanna be like Tupac. I was from the ‘hood. We didn’t believe in none of that shit. I’m 6’6 tall and I never played basketball because I never believed in going to the NBA. That was just too far fetched for me and being a rap star was too far fetched for me.”

But it wasn’t long before an eye-opening encounter with Swisha House’s Michael “5000” Watts had Slim singing a different song. “I was at a party freestyling and he invited me to his house to do a mixtape,” he recalls, adding that Watts “showed me the hustle of it, how it all worked. As soon I saw that, I started making money.”

Although he has only one major label release to his credit – 2005’s Already Platinum, Slim Thug has the swagger and the fanbase of a more seasoned rapper. His new CD, Boss of All Bosses (Boss Hawg Outlawz/E1 Music), is a testament to his independent spirit both as an artist and an entrepreneur. It is a testament, he says, to the ‘reality music’ that has made his native Houston a hotbed for hip-hop over the years. “This album is me doing what I wanted to do. I put it together the way I wanted without being influenced by any other people – no A&Rs, none of that. What people are gonna get from this album is Houston. I have all the artists out of Houston on it: UGK, Scarface, Lil Keke, Z-Ro.”

As he cites appearances on his CD, Slim Thug gushes with pride. “These are the people I listen to all the time all day,” he proclaims, “and I just wanna give the world that, let the world know the type of stuff that we’re on because I don’t see too many people outside the southern region catching on to how we do our stuff out here. There’s still a whole other side of Houston that hasn’t been displayed so I’m still trying to bring it out to a broader audience.”

After one CD, several mixtapes – including Serve and Collect: Volumes 1 and 2 – and a number of appearances on other people’s projects (Mike Jones’ ‘Still Tippin’ Gwen Stefani’s “Luxurious" and Beyonce’s “Check On It”), the original boss man from Houston is back in the mix, still calling the shots, still doing things his way. “It’s always been like that,” he says confidently. “I was always in control of whatever I did. That’s why when I got with the majors I wasn’t comfortable because I wasn’t calling the shots. I’ve always been a boss in this music game. Now, in my mind, I’m starting over from scratch. I’m just hitting the reset button and start from there.”

A source inside Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles has confirmed exclusively to RadarOnline.com that pop star Rihanna was in fact treated there for injuries…

“It was some time after 12PM PST [Sunday] and I had been waiting in the ER department corridor when Rihanna was brought through the back entrance on a gurney, flanked by two LAPD officers. It was impossible to know it was her at first because when they wheeled her past me, she had the hood on her fuchsia-colored sweatshirt tightly drawn round her face and she was wearing big brown sunglasses. They took her into room 14 which was opposite me. It had a six-foot glass door but the nurses drew a privacy curtain around it.”

“I knew the person was famous because of all the attention she was being given by security and medical staff. However, they didn’t draw the curtain all the time and I was finally able to make out that the woman they had brought in was Rihanna. She was lying in bed. While the two police officers waited outside, Rihanna was seen by the doctor. When he left, a plain clothes officer in a mismatched suit went in.I figured he was a detective because I saw the handcuffs in his belt. He stayed in there for about an hour.”
“When he left, Rihanna’s two female assistants went in to see her and a private security guard stood outside. The police officers were given room 10 to use which was close to Rihanna’s. “Rihanna was clearly very upset by what had happened and I could hear her screaming. Rihanna was trying to get her point across about something, she sounded like she was crying as she tried to get to put her point across.“
