Rapper Young Joc's Wife Files for Divorce

Who knew that rapper Young Joc was married. It as apparrent that his side piece Karli Redd did not know either. It has been reported by TMZ that Young Joc's wife Alexandria Robinson is filing for a divorce. The couple were high school sweethearts and have been married for 13 years but recently we have been watching Young Joc and Karli Redd carry on a high profile relationship on Love and Hip Hop Atlanta on VH1.

Alexandria is seeking spousal support and child support for their three children. The couple have been seperated since February 2012.

MUSIC VIDEO: JOYNER LUCAS FINALLY UNLEASHES VISUAL FOR THE RACIALLY CHARGED "HALF NI**GER"

Worcester, MA ~ Pitchfork (Jayson Greene) probably summed it up best when they debuted this song back in May by revealing, "Joyner Lucas is a rapper without the benefit of a style or crew or movement around him—he's from Worcester, MA, so he doesn't even really have a vital local rap scene. He's not really participating in any of the national rap conversations happening right now, as a result, and the closest he's come to an industry cosign might have been in 2012, when the Alchemist picked a track he submitted in a contest to be released on Decon. But he's making good records, and "Half Ni**er" is a great, clear-eyed song, with a fluid, conversational delivery."
Early treatment ideas for this visual included everything from Donald Sterling footage to Ku Klux Klan uniforms but in the end it was felt that the sentiment behind the song was powerful enough in its own right to carry the intended message. No brow beating or low-hanging fruit needed. Joyner hopes you will appreciate the simplicity of the video. Enjoy it after the jump.

Twin Atlantic “Heart & Soul” Hits US Radio, NY & LA Shows Announced

Breakthrough band Twin Atlantic are returning to the US, with intimate small club shows at LA’s Troubadour July 21^st and New York’s Webster Hall Studio July 24th. The Glasgow 4-piece will be previewing songs off their new Gil Norton & Jacknife Lee-produced album Great Divide, out August 18^th via Red Bull Records.

The first single off Great Divide, “Heart & Soul” premiered on Radio 1’s Zane Lowe as the “Hottest Record in the World,” was added to the station’s A-List and debuted at #17 on the UK sales chart. Tampa, FL Progressive Metal Band AKELDAMA Signs with Rogue Records America

The Rogue Records America roster just keeps growing with amazing talent! Tampa, FL six-piece progressive metal band AKELDAMA has signed a two-record distribution deal with Rogue Records America.

AKELDAMA announces their relationship with Rogue Records America by releasing their re-mastered and remixed three-song EP, simply titled Akeldama for free to anyone who wants it. The band has also become involved with PROJECT ROGUE-TITANS with the recent recruitment of both singers Andrew Zink and Connor Reibling.

“These guys just really shook my foundation when I heard them,” said Rogue Records America owner Dean Martinetti. “The landscapes in their music is layered thick and never at any moment loses its momentum or pacing. It’s really just well done. So, we had to ask them if they’d be a part of the family…and thankfully, they said yes.”

AKELDAMA released their first full-length record, entitled Everything Beautiful on September 6, 2013. Funny thing about that "Puff Daddy" song. Being a Los Angeles resident with the priviledge of being all up in the mix has its benefits. Jay was able not only to get the song to Puff's team, but to get feedback from the man himself. Word is, he digs it and looks forward to seeing the video, which debuts on HipHopDX today. Oddly, he changed his name back to Puff Daddy shortly thereafter.............coincidence? Perhaps, but a great look for Jay Blaze regardless.

Beyonce Watches as Solange Attacks Jay-Z in Elevator

Beyonce‘s younger sister Solange Knowles violently attacked Jay-Z last week and the whole thing was caught on video.

All three of the stars stepped into an elevator together after attending the Met Gala after party at the Standard Hotel when Solange started screaming at Jay-Z before violent attacking him, according to TMZ.

Solange was held back by Beyonce's bodyguard, but she was still able to get in some kicks and definitely makes contact at least three times. The whole time, Beyonce stands to the side without getting involved physically. No word on what happened that caused the fight.

Fresh New Insight to the 1994 Suicide of Kurt Cobain

Seattle police have released two never-before-seen images taken at the scene of Kurt Cobain's death after they announced they were re-examining evidence in the two decade-old case. One of the tragic photographs, which comes from four rolls of undeveloped film stumbled upon last month, shows a small cigar box containing a spoon, possibly with heroin residue on it, needles and a lighter laying on the floor next to a cigarette butt and a pair of dark sunglasses. The second picture shows the box closed, next to cash, a woolly hat and an open wallet that appears to display Cobain's ID. Detective Renee Witt, a spokeswoman for the Seattle Police Department, revealed Thursday that detectives were taking a second look at the circumstances surrounding the Nirvana star's suicide after the new evidence was uncovered. The rolls of film were found in sealed bags by an officer who was going through Cobain's case file ahead of the approaching 20th anniversary of the singer's death. The images are said to detail the scene in sharper detail than the Polaroid pictures used in the original 1994 investigation causing police to review all evidence. However, authorities have stopped short of declaring a full re-opening of the case and police are reluctant to suggest much will come from the new photos. Chiptle Sues Frank Ocean

Chipotle Mexican Grill is serving Frank Ocean with a lawsuit after the “channel ORANGE” artist backed out of an ad campaign he agreed to do for the chain. The suit filed in LA county states that Ocean signed on to do a $425,000 deal with Chipotle in which Ocean would sing a remake of “Pure Imagination” for an animated ad, but the artist backed out after the company refused to remove their logo from the end of the ad. That artist’s team e-mailed the chain stating that Ocean was promised the final say over the recording and all promotional materials and accused the burrito bigwigs of being in breach of contract. Chipotle is now suing for the $212,500 advance paid to Ocean. We’re no entertainment attorneys, but at the end of the day Frank Ocean or not, Chipotle more than likely has a goal of advertising their product, so it’s no big surprise that they might want their logo on the tail end of their ad. We’re all for artistic freedom, but we aren’t exactly sure how much Ocean wants the ad to be about him and not burrito bowls. Well the courts may have to make some adjustments to Ocean’s official name in the documents. In an unrelated story, TMZ reports that Ocean filed documents to legally change his birth name to his stage name. Ocean, whose real name is Christopher Edwin Breaux, has to post his intentions in four separate newspapers once a week for four weeks in a row. This ensures that just in case he’s using the name to commit fraud, victims have the opportunity to come forward in court.
