Records announces that Death From Above 1979's sophomore album, The Physical World, will be released on September 9, 2014. Ten years after the band's highly successful debut album, You're A Woman, I'm A Machine, the band will drop the not so patiently awaited follow up album, produced by D. Sardy (Red Hot Chili Peppers, LCD Soundsystem, Wolfmother, Oasis) on the heels of their first Toronto festival play in years, when they play Riot Fest on September 6 / 7th. LILY ALLEN'S NEW ALBUM, SHEEZUS, OUT TODAY ON WARNER BROS. RECORDS

May 6th, 2014 - Burbank, CA - Sheezus, Lily Allen's third studio album, is out today on Warner Bros. Records. It is the British pop singer's first album since 2009's acclaimed It's Not Me, It's You. Sheezus finds her re-teaming with her long-time collaborator Greg Kurstin (Tegan & Sara, P!nk), except for on the title track, which was produced by DJ Dahi, and "Air Balloon," which was produced by Shellback. Critics have already weighed in on Allen's return with Cosmopolitan announcing that "Britain's top pop provocateur is back and as unapologetic as ever." U.K. music bible Q declares her "Britain's smartest pop star" and notes that Sheezus is a blend of "punchy feminist statements, wistful party jams, NSFW love letters to her husband, two-finger salutes to her critics, and moments of startling vulnerability." To celebrate the release of Sheezus, Allen will arrive Stateside next week to make several TV appearances, including The Today Show on May 14th, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on May 14th, and Live with Kelly and Michael on May 26th. She will also perform a sold-out show at New York City's Highline Ballroom, her first live show in the U.S. in five years. Since emerging in 2006 with her iconic debut single "Smile," Allen has gone on to sell over five million albums worldwide. Her huge success in the U.K. not only quickly spread around the world, but also helped shift the musical axis toward young female artists. Her talent as a songwriter was acknowledged in 2010 when she won three Ivor Novello Awards. That same year she announced she was taking a break from making and performing music.
