Porn Industry is not Recession Proof (or is it)?

Has the economic recession affected the Porn industry? DVD sales have gone down due to people turning to online websites to get their fix. People can log onto the Internet and visit any "tube site" and watch snippets of free porn, whether it is pirated, legally obtained from longer films or footage that is amateur-shot. These sites have affected the sales of many of your major companies such as VIVID that has reported a 30% drop in sales for the past year. Because the economy is in such bad shape the adult film industry is paying more attention to the business side of the industry. So how does a company compete with "tube sites"? Create a "niche market". Kink has developed its online community and has been able to create a niche. Reidel of Kink has developed unpiratable content, "A pirated movie you can take and watch over and over again. A live one-on-one experience - you can't pirate that" quoted Reidel. With live one-on-one viewers can connect with the actors ans the director of the movie.
